Black Mothers & COVID-19

A replay of a live online talk giving black mums practical advice to help protect themselves & their children naturally during these challenging times

***Replay Of Live Online Talk***

Life as a black mother of young children who are in your care can be very challenging at this time.

With the COVID-19 Virus affecting everyday life in immeasurable ways, our work, family life, social life, travel, children’s education and even access to food has all been up in the air or significantly effected.

Then on top of all that, as a black mother, not only are we working to keep ourselves AND our children and families safe, we’re also being told that being black, means we are at a much higher risk of contracting this virus than other cultures.

Even before COVID-19 came about, black mothers health was in jeopardy, as we’re 5 times more likely to die during childbirth, our rates of breast cancer survival are lower, and we’re hit harder with fibroids and depression.

We need help and we need it now

As a mother of 6 children all under 16yrs old, I understand the challenges of being a black mother during this time and want to share with you what’s helped me and other mothers i work with get through challenging times like these.

This is a replay of a live online event held, during which I shared:

  • How to protect your children’s mental & physical health
  • How to protect your health as a black mother naturally
  • How to create a nurturing and positive home environment in challenging times
  • &  much more

This course comes with a handout and links for resources mentioned during the event.
